Stop Stigma Sacramento Resources

2-1-1 Sacramento is a free information and referral service for the community. Just call 2-1-1 (or 916-498-1000). An InfoLine referral specialist will take your call and choose from over 2,400 nonprofit and public programs to recommend ones best suited to help. Calls are always confidential and interpreters are available free of charge.

Sacramento County Division of Behavioral Health Services provides mental health services for adults and children at facilities throughout the county. Services vary according to age and individual needs, and may include:

  • Assistance with accessing behavioral health services for underserved, limited English proficient populations
  • Evaluation and assessment
  • Brief therapy and counseling for individuals, family and groups
  • Peer and family member support
  • Crisis residential – a short-term residential program that provides a less restrictive alternative to hospitalization
  • Case management
  • Medication evaluation and support
  • Hospitalization
